In a recent study, it has been proven that people walk 10% faster in big cities during rush hour than they used to ten years ago. This gives proof to the fact that the world is becoming more fast-paced. Children are growing up faster, and adults just can't wait until they move up another level in what they're doing. Less and less people are not paying attention to everything around them and more to themselves. People are seeing only the smallest corner of the big picture, ignoring everything that couldn't possibly be about them. I'm one of those people. I get annoyed when people walk slow, blocking my way to where I'm going. Those saunterers seem so oblivious to everything. Don't they know that people have to get some where and they might be preventing them from getting there on time? At least that what I think when I encounter them (this is the nicer curse word free version though). But the truth is, those are the people who are probably the least oblivious, because they just might be taking everything in, and enjoying it. In the end I should probably take a few cues from those saunterers. But most likely I won't. Because god damnit I have some fucking places to go I tell you!
