Modern parenting methods are ones in which you deprive a child of any possible things that could hurt them. Let me be not the first to say that's absolutely ridiculous. This germ phobia riddled, deprivation parenting tactic is only hurting kids. Parents are introducing their kids to a world where rapists and pedophiles are lurking around every corner. One where your next door neighbor will not hesitate to shove a razor blade into your Halloween candy. It's not completely technology's fault for killing social capital. The ever-increasing paranoia of mothers and fathers is to blame as well.
Now I can be very paranoid even about pets, so I don't even want to think about ever having kids for this reason right now. That's why I'm following one of my mothers pearls of wisdom: "NEVER HAVE KIDS."
This was in the woman's exam room today. I couldn't help but giggle to myself. Yeah, at times I can have a sick sense of humor.

Yes you do have a sick sense of humor. But you are very right about the increase in parenting paranoia and parking your kids in front of technology because it is safer. And yes you must at least wait a very long time to have children. Maybe granddogs would be nice . Be safe and dont eat candy from strangers. love mom
