So much yet so little has happened in the past few weeks. I moved out of my dorm and finished my freshman year - then proceeded to go home and get used to Riverside again. Freshman year was great and I feel that I'm going in the right direction. I've made long strides when it comes to getting where I'm supposed to go. Both sentences that I just wrote pretty much sound and are the same statement, but whatever.

So I made (a?) meatloaf. I really don't like meatloaf but I seriously need to learn how to cook. I can't foresee myself making the dish ever again but I think it was more of a personal course for me on following instructions and not burning things. I just don't get meatloaf at all. Ketchup on meat is just wrong in so many ways. Oh, and fuck casseroles too - I'm not even going to attempt that.
Kitties pretty much rule the roost in my home. I gave away three at a local Albertson's within an hour. Even though I'd like to think they went to great homes I can't help but feel that they're all going to end up as roadkill. Out of sight out of mind I guess! Well, they were the kitties that either didn't have any personality or were just feral little rats. Good Riddance!

I love meatloaf! And it's one of my favorite things to cook. If you want to learn to cook, I could show you how to make a couple of fairly easy meals when you come visit! It will at least give you some ideas, then you can get creative from there. I can't wait to see you!
